Izawa Corporation started their legacy in 1986 in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture.

Where Izawa is located was part of the old Mino Province of Japan. It is the birthplace of the world famous Minoyaki (Mino ware) and has a history of pottery making for over a thousand years. Over the years, Izawa has developed an wide range of product lines. Their products are all hand-made by local craftmen who not only proudly inherit the traditional techniques also always make efforts to improve their designs to meet the daily needs of modern era.
